We decided to use our imaginations to head outside and get creative! Making the most of the changing seasons, our class have been designing awesome posters that showcase our school’s natural environment. You can use words, drawings, photographs – or a combination of all three – to show what you love most about the world outside your classroom window. From a simple flower drawing, to a detailed photo story about the local squirrels, any and all posters highlighting the amazing natural world be just perfect!

We used coloured pencils for ours and worked individually and in groups ,what do you think?

Follow the Regent's canal through Regent's Park and Central London on this pleasant waterside cycling and walking route.
Starting at the Little Venice basin in Maida Vale, you follow the canal into Regent’s Park where you will find the famous Zoo. You then pass through Camden, with its popular market, before continuing towards the East End. The route then passes the revived Mile End Park with its arts pavilion, terraced gardens and green bridge with views of Canary Wharf. You finish at the River Thames at Limehouse Basin.
You can extend your outing by picking up the Jubilee Greenway circular walk. The waymarked trail visits some of the capital's best parks and most famous landmarks. It uses the canal for part of the route.
At the western end the canal joins with the Paddington Canal, an arm of the Grand Union Canal. You can follow the towpath west through Little Venice to Westbourne, Alperton, Harlesden and Hayes.

Quinn London Ltd would like to invite students from The Children’s University to take part in a drawing competition.

We are a construction company from London and we want you to design a mascot for us! Your mascot can be anything you like but try to relate it to the Quinn colours and name (have a look at our logo for ideas).

You need to;

• Give your mascot a name.
• Decide what your mascot will look like and where he or she lives.
• Draw your mascot.
• Don’t forget your mascot is from a construction company so he or she needs safety equipment and tools!

The five best drawings will be displayed on our project hoarding and the person with the best drawing will receive a prize worth £50.

The deadline for entries is the 8^th of March, 2017 so get drawing!
