Project Outline

This project will run from February ‘22 onward to February ‘23 (On an annual cycle) and ensure a full range of career development opportunities. Steak-holders will deliver discounted schemes of work through WCU to allow participants to develop career and life skills and achieve national and organisational certificates and accreditations. The end of the project will see the steak-holders delivering a day of outreach at the sponsor’s chosen location where achievements will be celebrated and recognised.

Project structure and responsibilities:

1.            Each project element will include in-school activity and independent activities for students to engage in.

2.            The activities will ensure a deeper dive into a range of career paths and allow for participants’ skill development.

3.            The WCU manager will ensure the best cost available for the size and content of each project and ensure its local impact.

4.            The steak holders will deliver a scheme of work within partner schools as coordinated by the WCU manager.

5.            The Projects will all create a scheme of work and accreditation to be achieved.

6.            The WCU manager will monitor outcomes for project-end feedback and will have engaged schools from the local wards directly.
